ALL ABOUT COLLIES
|
| The Collie’s
sweet expression and abundant double
coat make him gorgeous to behold, but,
what really wins people over is his
character. Rarely an aggressive breed,
the Collie bonds closely and intensely
to its people and excels at judging
character and situations. The Collie’s
centuries old history as the protector
of sheep suits it well to be the protector
of the family, especially children.

ABOUT DFW COLLIE RESCUE |

|
|
DFW
Collie Rescue was founded in
2005, but collie rescue had
been happening a long time before
2005. Carolyn Edgmon , the “collie
rescue lady” has been
rescuing collies since 2000
and has found homes for over
100 collies that were abandoned,
discarded, or turned into an
animal shelter. Carolyn is very
knowledgeable of the breed,
having shown collies in the
AKC show ring since 1980. |

OUR
COLLIES NEED YOUR HELP TODAY |
|
 |
|
| Sampson
is the first dog that we
have ever owned. Little
did we know that we would
completely bond with him
so quickly. Our expectations
have been far exceeded.
Since adopting Sampson from
DFW Collie Rescue about
nine months ago our lives
have never been the same. |
